Background Info
This is the second CD in Kosmic Music’s Hummingbird Series. The
CD features a diverse range of talented artists.
Manish Vayas was raised in a family with a passion for the many
different forms of Indian music. He combines his rich knowledge of
music and talented playing of the Tabla -- the north Indian drum set
-- with the genres of World and Fusion music.
Deva Premal, originally from Germany, was raised in a tradition of
mantra and spiritual discipline. From an early age she was taught
piano, violin and voice training. By the time she was five she was
chanting the Gayatri Mantra daily. She continues to integrate
meditation into her life and her music.
Ethno electronic artist Adham Shaikh is renowned for his unique
exploration of sounds. He uses music to blend a wide range of styles
including tech house, dub, world beat and jazz.
Mark Bell is both a musician and producer of electronic house music
from Britain. He is noted for working with talented artists such as
Depeche Mode and Bjork.
Russill Paul The Yoga of Sound: Tapping the Hidden Power of Music
and Chant (New World Library) and the music producer of several
acclaimed chant CDs.

lush, beautiful music is both soothing and healing. Of particular
note is Maneesh de Moor’s Silent Ganges, with its hypnotic chants
and mantras interlaced with ambient percussion and Twilight Magic
during which, former monk, Russill Paul’s healing power of sound
blooms into a languid feast of sensual delight.
