These
dangerous spirits feed on human emotions
Danger!
Hungry Ghosts - Do Not Feed Them
by Linda
Preston
What is a
hungry ghost?
Well, it's not
one that is going to raid your refrigerator for the last piece of
chocolate cake, leaving just a few crumbs on a plate.
No, a hungry
ghost has a much more dangerous appetite than that. It feeds
greedily on human emotions.
As a
professional psychic I have been invited into many homes where the
occupants feel under siege by ghostly activity. They are afraid to
sleep at night - afraid to be alone in their own home - afraid they
will be harmed.
In all those
cases, literally hundreds I have never found one case where there
was not already an existing stressful situation in the lives of
those being affected by the haunting.
They've either
got money problems, work issues, or relationship worries. A little
further questioning and it is often revealed than someone in the
house has recently been treated for anxiety or depression by a
doctor. It's quite remarkable!
It is my
opinion that any spirit that already lies dormant in a home
unnoticed by the occupants will suddenly spring into life the moment
someone's energy field is low. It's just what it has been waiting
for. It gorges on a flow of negative emotion. It's almost as if all
ghosts need to gather some sort of energy in a haunted situation.
We are already
aware that often in haunted houses, lights will flicker on and off,
batteries drain of energy, fires are suddenly extinguished. It all
rather points to the suggestion that spirits need to feed on energy
in order to be. And perhaps they feed on all that emotional energy
you may be generating too.
Tears, anger,
despair- for any ghosts already in your home - it would be like a
shark feeding frenzy. Experiencing raw human emotion makes the
spirit remember what it like to be alive again. It just can't get
enough. The more you feed it - the stronger it becomes. The stronger
it gets the more the unpleasant activity and appearances will
increase.
So, if this
description fits your situation. What can you do? How can you help
yourself?
My first piece
of advice is to remain calm. Do not overreact to anything. Even if
the spirit materializes right in front of your eyes. As frightening
as it is do not show any emotion if possible. Turn away without even
acknowledging its presence.
Take no notice
whatsoever of strange noises. If they continue. Turn up the TV or
Radio.
If you have
emotional issues to discuss with your partner or other family
members do not do so in your home. Take them outside or as far away
as possible. Do not let it overhear. Do not feed its appetite any
further - starve it out.
Protect
yourself psychically by carrying out this simple exercise. It was
used in the middle east in ancient times and is known as the 'Armour
of Protection'
Close your
eyes and picture your aura as bright as wide as possible - see it
glowing so intensely it hurts your eyes. Nothing will be able enter
such a strong energy field. Practice this technique several times a
day and feel your mental strength growing dramatically!
Make your home
as bright and airy as possible. Pull back curtains - fling open
windows let in clean fresh air.
Burn incense; it calms and purifies the atmosphere.
You can also
refer to my previous article 'There's a Ghost in my House. What can
I do? for additional advice.
Finally, if
you remain calm, positive and focused on your intention to make
progress with this problem - the hungry ghost will soon begin to
realize that its appetite is not going to be satisfied any further
by you. It will either leave your home or become inactive again.
Your home will be healed and your heart and mind will at peace.
