Tuning in to the mysterious
powers of megaliths and other sacred places like Stonehenge
Drawing on the Energies at
Ancient Sites and Areas in Nature that are Spiritually Energized

It's as though a sixth sense
wakes up as you come close to an ancient monument or special area of
nature; you can feel the presence in the energies. If you take a few
minutes to pause in the daily rush to achieve, and just be still, at
one of these areas on our planet, you can feel the deeper connection
and get a sense of the history of the site.
If it's a dry day and you
can sit on the ground and make a connection to the Earth, you can
feel the energy of the area flowing around and through you. You may
feel this in many ways; you may get a sense of the sounds in the
distant past. Feel the wind on your face in a special way.
What I notice myself as I
sit and start to drift into a meditative state is the energies in my
face become more pronounced. I get a kind of silly little grin on my
face and I feel the field of energy within my body and out into the
aura becoming stronger and more charged up.
I become like a radio tuner
with its base frequency, which can amplify small fluctuations in the
surrounding energies. As you tune into nature and imagine roots
going down into the ground to earth your energy field, you become
sensitive to the slightest change in your environment.
As you reach out with your
feeling and sense the energies, you can choose what aspect of the
energies you would like to tune into. You may want to allow your
awareness to drift back a thousand years and feel what was happening
in this area then.
As you sit there with your
eyes closed you may find your sixth sense becoming active, you may
start to see images in your imagination or feel the sounds that may
have been emanating. Smell the smoke of a campfire or get the taste
of the food that was cooking.
You may become aware of the
quality of the energy and its mood. Is it happy energy or is there
some other quality?
You may want to project your
awareness forward and see how the area could be developed and
improved. You can use your imagination to create the blueprint for
the nature spirits to work with to bring your dream into reality.
As you tune in deeper to the
energies and allow your boundaries to become fuzzy; and as you
become one with nature, you tune into the vibration of the area and
the interplay of the five elements of Fire, Earth, Air, Water and
the Life Force itself. You may sense the presence of the nature
spirits or elves, or feel their equivalent in the etheric realms in
the form of angels and guides.
Using your imagination and
feeling you could start up a conversation with them and discuss any
areas of interest. You may notice that you are also getting very
deep relaxation and inspiration at the same time. To join to nature
you have to tune your energies in and become one with nature. This
has a very balancing and healing effect on you.
Some parts of the world are
renowned for the healing qualities of their energies. Know that it
is the energies in your body that do the adjusting and balancing.
Know also this is a process of letting go, relaxing and releasing.
It is a process of moving
out of your head and your intellect into your heart and your feeling
and just being one with your body, nature and your higher self. The
nice thing is, as we allow our attention to go to these subtle
layers of nature, we allow nature to merge with our awareness. As it
does so, nature itself can become aware of its own nature and the
whole planet can start to wake up and know itself.
This is the "ascension"
process: a re-merging of all the different aspects of ourselves.
Parts that we have felt were separate and discrete start to become
aware of their unified nature and the oneness of life itself.
