How writers may submit articles
to be published by New Age Web Works
Writers' Guidelines
New Age Web Works invites writers to share your
articles with other visitors to this web site.
This is not a paid market. If accepted, your
rewards will be karmic rather than tangible.
Articles may be about any of the myriad topics that are part of the new
age movement, including (but not limited to) Aromatherapy, Ancient
Mysteries, Book or Music Reviews, Healing,
Forbidden Knowledge, Meditation, Qi Gong, Reiki, Traditional Chinese
Medicine, Yoga, Celtic, Druid, Gaia, Goddess, Magick, Mother Earth, Wicca, Astral Travel,
Astrology, Clairvoyance, Earth Mysteries, Lucid Dreaming, Remote Viewing,
UFOs, Conversations with God, Course in Miracles, New Thought, Return to
Love and the Unity Church. We do not publish
fiction or poetry. Articles may be as short as
450 words or as long as 1,200. If you send us a longer article, we will
probably ask you to tighten it up. We
especially like stories with pictures -- photographs or illustrations --
as long as you took the photo or created the picture. Please do not submit
anyone else's copyrighted material. Also, do not send anyone's likeness
unless you have their written permission to publish their image.
We like getting articles from authors, practitioners
and other experts, but please do not send an "advertorial" that is nothing
more than an advertisement for your product or service. If you would like
to promote yourself or your website, you may do so in a brief author's
biography at the end of your piece. We like
well-researched articles that include one or two links to other websites where
further information is available. If you're
not sure whether or not to write an article for us that we might not publish, it's best to "query" with a short email message describing your
article with its suggested title, length, thesis, a description of your
illustrating materials, and telling why you are qualified to write such an
article. Send submissions to: editor "at"
newageinfo.com. We will discard,
unopened, any files attached to unsolicited email. If we accept your story
idea we will instruct you about where to send your pictures.
We regret that we are not able to acknowledge every
message we receive, but you can rest assured that if we like your material
we will contact you prior to publication. Best
